# How do I connect the app to my AeroHub Radar account?

AeroHub Connector works with your AeroHub Radar account. You sign in with the same account you use on [AeroHub Radar](https://aerohubradar.com). You never type your password inside the app: you approve the connection on the AeroHub Radar website instead, which is safer.

## Before you start

- You need an AeroHub Radar account. If you do not have one yet, create it on [aerohubradar.com](https://aerohubradar.com/auth).
- Your account needs access to AeroHub Connector (a licence). You can get it on the [AeroHub Connector website](https://connector.aerohubradar.com).

## How to connect

1. Open AeroHub Connector. On the Welcome aboard screen, click "Sign in with AeroHub Radar".
2. Your browser opens the AeroHub Radar website, on the page "Connect AeroHub Connector". If you are not signed in on the website, sign in first.
3. The app shows a short code with the message "Confirm this code in your browser". The website shows a code too.
4. Make sure the code on the website is the same as the code in the app. This protects you: it proves that the request really comes from your computer.
5. Click Allow on the website.
6. The website says "You're connected!" and you can close the tab.
7. Go back to the app. It says "You're signed in!" and shows your AeroHub Radar account. That's it.

If the browser did not open, or you closed it by mistake, click "Open the browser again" in the app. If you do not recognise the code, or you clicked by mistake, click Cancel.

## Where can I see my connected computers?

Every computer where you connect the app appears on the AeroHub Radar website, in your account, under Connections, with the name of the computer and when it was last used. From there you can also disconnect a computer you no longer use.

## Common problems

- "Access not available": your AeroHub Radar account does not have access to AeroHub Connector yet. Get it on the [AeroHub Connector website](https://connector.aerohubradar.com), then click Try again.
- "Sign in failed": check your internet connection and click Try again.
- The request expired: each connection request is only valid for a short time. Click "Sign in with AeroHub Radar" again to get a new code.
- Wrong account: if the website shows a different account, use "Not you?" on the website to switch accounts before you click Allow.

## Signing out

To disconnect the app on this computer, open the app, go to Account and sign out. This only signs out this computer; your other computers stay connected.
