We want to be simple and honest about this.
Who is the author of my photos?
You are. The author of a photo is always the photographer who took it, and that will never change. Your name is always shown with your photos.
What is the role of AeroHub Photos?
AeroHub Photos is the platform where your photos are published. It belongs to AeroHub Group. We store your photos on our server, show them in the gallery and on AeroHub Radar, and take care of them for you.
When you publish a photo on AeroHub Photos, you agree that:
- You stay the author of the photo, and you always get the credit.
- AeroHub Photos keeps the copy of the photo that you uploaded and controls how it is shown on the platform.
- AeroHub Photos can use the photo on its own pages and social media (for example Instagram, YouTube, TikTok and X, formerly Twitter), always with credit to you.
- AeroHub Photos can allow another platform to use the photo, and that platform must always give credit to you.
In short: the photo is yours as the author, and by publishing it you share its use with the platform that hosts it. Both sides work together. The official rules are in the Terms of Service.
How am I credited?
- All your photos on AeroHub Photos show your name.
- Each of your photos has a copyright bar with your name and the AeroHub Photos watermark. This protects your photo if someone tries to copy or reuse it without permission from you or from AeroHub Photos.
- When we share one of your photos on our pages or social media, we always mention you as the photographer.
I want to let someone else use my photo
You can. Your photos are not locked by AeroHub Photos. But please tell us first.
Why? Our team watches where AeroHub Photos photos appear. If we see your photo on another website or page, we may think it was copied without permission and ask for it to be removed. If you tell us that you allowed it, we know it is fine, and there is no conflict for you, for us, or for the other person.
How to tell us:
- Send us a message on the Contact page, or a direct message on our social media.
- Say which photo (or which photos from your profile), who you allowed to use it, and where it will be used.
This is not a punishment rule. Nothing bad happens if you forget. It is simply the best way to avoid misunderstandings, so we can protect your photos properly.
Someone used my photo without permission
Please contact us with the link to your photo and the place where you saw it. We will help you.
What happens to my photos if I delete my account?
Important: if you delete your account without contacting us first, the rights to your published photos are transferred to AeroHub Photos. We explain why this happens, and what it means for you, in the Terms of Service of AeroHub Photos.
So, before you delete your account, please read the Terms of Service and the Privacy Policy, and contact AeroHub Photos support to decide together what happens to your photos.
